The most important things to carry while on this trek are a bag pack of warm clothes like sweaters, jackets, gloves, mufflers, socks, and a personal medicine kit.
You should be well equipped with water bottles, thermal innerwear, trekking shoes, and warm pants. While up on the high mountains, your skin gets dry and it becomes uncomfortable, so you can keep some lotion and lip balm with yourself.
Some other things you may carry are torches with extra batteries, dry snacks like biscuits, chocolate bars, and wafers.
It is advisable to carry some glucose powder to give you instant energy should you require it and trekking poles as well. Do not carry heavy suitcases with you while going on the trek. Keep rain covers handy.
Best Time To Visit
You can go to the Bhrigu Lake Trek during the months of mid-May to mid-October. To be more specific, the time before June and after August is the best time to go on this trek.
During the winter season, the lake remains frozen and trekking can be quite difficult because of the snowfall and the extremely chilly weather. There are some probabilities of landslides as well, making trekking during the winter season dangerous.
Level Of Difficulty
The Bhrigu lake Trek is classified as of moderate difficulty, though many might argue that this trek is easy. Trekking during the winter season can get overwhelming and quite difficult.

Reasons To Do
Travelers can enjoy the sight of the sun shining down on the lake and the snowfall as well. The lake, in itself, is a wonder.
It changes its color from time to time. Sometimes it gets green, sometimes it is blue, sometimes there is ice floating on the surface, and at times it is completely frozen. During the monsoon season, you will witness some flowers and grass growing around the lake.
Some famous mountain peaks are also visible once you start trekking. If the weather is clear, the Pir Panjal ranges and the Dhauladhar ranges are visible as well.
This trek is sometimes worth it, just to be able to see these amazing scenic views which remain forever etched in your heart.
The trek itself is an exciting opportunity for all adventure lovers. The gentle rays of the sun during the daytime makes the trekking quite pleasant, and the starry night skies make for a special treat for the night gazers and the campers.
